Osoyoos Lake. The “Hotel Strip” located
on Osoyoos lake is located about eight blocks away. Just close enough that you can
walk to Dairy Queen for the evening treat, or dinner at several restaurants, yet just
far enough away that you are not listening to it all night long. This is a family
oriented complex and not recommended if you are looking for a place to party!
The
complex has a beautiful lakefront pool and hot tub, a recreation room that has a work
out room with tread mill, exercise bike and free weights, as well as a pool table and
shuffleboard. You are situated on a private white sandy beach that gently slopes
into the water, (no sudden drop offs for little kids), as much sun and/or shade as you
like (provided by several large willow trees) depending on where you place your beach
blanket. Almost a football field size area is buoyed off against boats and jet skis
to provide safe swimming and sandcastle building. There is even a larger area
dedicated for boats and jet skis including a 200 ft pier. |
